This is my gallery for the 2peas 2007 Photo a day challenge.
HHCC WELCOME AND APPRECIATED.*
*please note I sometimes use the "lensbaby" it is an artistic lens and is MEANT to be blurry. HHCC welcome on these photos in the area of composition, post processing, even "area" of blur, just note that the soft focus is intentional on Lensbaby pictures. :) Thanks!
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE A COMMENT OR HHCC PLEASE CLICK ON THE PICTURE AND CLICK "PHOTO COMMENTS" Thanks :)
I FINALLY got out and shot today. Granted, I neglected my "motherly" duties by skipping peeling potatoes for stew and went straight to the Pizza place for a couple of pies for the boys!
Anyhoo, this is a shot out on the field of the school. The snack shack trailer along with the sunset.
ISO 100, f/2.2 1/640 HHCC always welcome and appreciated :)
This one is an edit of a picture taken over Christmas break.
One of the boys got this game for Christmas and they couldn't play it enough!
I see a yellow cast- any pointers on how to get rid of it? I'm still learning PS and boy am I having a heck of a time!
HHCC welcome

I just can't get away from this computer!
I'm combining today's post (which I wasn't going to do because I've got to get some cleaning and scrapping done) with my 26 things challenge...this is #12 Shapes
TFL - if you'd like to leave comments please click on the picture, then on "picture comments" Thanks :)
*ETA - I'm not sure *exactly* what it is but here's the link to the exhibit
http://www.exploratorium.edu/seeing/about/seeing_gallery.html I just thought it was a cool looking subject :)- it went a little over my head!

Ok, I'm cheating...but I'm telling you that I'm cheating so it's really NOT cheating (I know that makes no sense but hey, I live with five guys....not much makes sense around my house) LOL
I'm posting these pictures today because I need to clean AND scrap tomorrow and Friday. AND I don't want a guilty conscience!
Focus is off and so much "wrong" with this picture. BUT hey I have a new game to play with the boys!
I swear, if I EVER get a subject who WANTS their picture taken and will actually POSE for the camera, I think I'll be ok!
Picture me and my big butt running all over chasing my big sons to take their pictures....priceless!

We went to the exploratorium at the Palace of Fine Arts, in SF today. We had more fun than we've EVER had at this place! As long as I was taking candid photos, with my boys unaware, I was ok. BUT as soon as I asked for pictures, this is what I get!
I literally had to play "hide and seek" with these boys in order to "sneek" their pictures. Oh what fun, NOT.
These are my oldest two, yes they are almost 18 (oh it hurts to say that!) and 16, big boys hiding from the camera.
50mm, f1.8, 1/800 ISO 800 (I know my settings were all wrong, but they ran from me so fast, then I got "caught up" in the game of trying to catch them!) There are a TON of pillars in this place
This is what I get from my 2nd and 3rd son. "No pictures mom!"
I'll be posting the rest of our "excursion" in my "family time" gallery later this week.
Thanks for looking and for all your comments!

I didn't make any resolutions, I never do. BUT I did make up my mind to begin the process to officially start my photography business. I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to invest in it but at least I'll have the paperwork needed when I'm ready.
So, of course, here's the picture!
I used Krisztina's B&W conversion for this one.
Just a quick snap Canon 20d, f/2.2 1/250, ISO 800

Happy snapping :)

Ok this was not taken during the DAY but last night, after midnight :).
First thing I want to let you know is that I consider my photography my ART. So, some of my photos may make NO sense whatsoever to some. That's ok.
Also, I'm positive that I cannot take, let alone post one-picture-per-day, so I won't set myself up for failure.
Some of the photos I post might even be "older photos" which I have in my computer that have just been sitting there, for months waiting for my Photoshop editing skills to improve.
So, for 1/1/07 here is my photo!
This photo is of my Christmas Tree lights. I used the Lensbaby f/2.0 - stretched/pulled the lens out a bit to get full blur. SS 1/15. ISO 400 Tripod. Canon 20d
TFL - add comments if you'd like by clicking on the photo and adding "photo comments" :) Have a wonderful 2007!
This was NOT taken for the challenge....that would be cheating right? :)
